Our events and adventures are lead by experienced educators and there is a special comradery among our participants who all have a shared interest in nature and wildlife. Whether you are a basic, beginning birder or a seasoned spotter of rarities, we have an event of interest for you!

Local Trips and Classes
Explore exciting birding locations in the NYC area while supporting our education programs. We use public transportation or travel by passenger van from our office to explore the best birding and natural areas.
Classes are offered regularly and taught by experienced birders and teachers. We have class/field trip offerings that focus on Beginning Birding, Learning Bird Song, particular group of birds, like the challenging sparrows and everybody's favorite - warblers. Join in and learn something new!

Spring trip to Baskakill Bird Conservation Area in Sullivan County
Overnight Trips (National and International Destinations)
From regional hotspots such as Cape May, NJ to tropical destinations such as Belize or Costa Rica, our varied national/international program offers diverse opportunities to get close to nature while exploring habitats important to our birds--both local residents and neotropical migrants. Your travel dollar supports our education programs while you do some excellent bird watching and wildlife viewing.

Lecture Series
Once again our yearlong lecture series is free and open to the public. All lectures are held at the Arsenal, Central Park, 5th Avenue and 64th Street, 3rd floor. This series has been made possible by the support of Claude and Lucienne Bloch.
