Join us during spring migration at Kings County Brewers Collective in Bushwick, Brooklyn as we film Birders: The Central Park Effect. This documentary, which premiered in 2012, reveals the extraordinary array of wild birds who grace Manhattan’s celebrated patch of green, and the equally colorful New Yorkers who schedule their lives around the rhythms of migration. The screening will be followed by a Q + A with filmmaker Jeff Kimball, NYC Audubon ecologists, and KCBC brewer Pete Lengyel, who was inspired to create Safe Flight IPA last fall after learning of the 100 of millions of birds that perish annually in the U.S from striking windows.
