Annual Election and Meeting of Members

2024 Election

Active, direct NYC Audubon members are invited to participate in the organization’s annual election and vote on two exciting ballot items:
  1. Ratifying our new name as NYC Bird Alliance: Based on input from over 1,000 people, including hundreds of members, the board of directors is proposing to change our organizational name to New York City Bird Alliance, Inc. (usually referred to as NYC Bird Alliance). (Read more below).
  2. Electing board directors and officers: These dedicated, dynamic volunteers play a pivotal role in guiding our organization’s initiatives.

OUR PROPOSED NEW NAME: NYC BIRD ALLIANCE
While our name will change, our mission remains the same. Dozens of Audubon chapters across the country have chosen the name “Bird Alliance.” Input from more than 1,000 people helped us understand that Bird Alliance is also the best name for NYC and our organization.
